Stacey Bronner raises money to aid MS victims

Stacey Bronner decided to do something to help families suffering from Multiple Sclerosis and poverty. Having a 20-year affiliation with Multiple Sclerosis Center of Atlanta, through her own neurologist, Bronner has grown to understand not only the medical toll that MS takes but the personal impact it has had on those she’s met over the years.

“I wanted to give others an opportunity to give. We all know someone in our circle – family, friends or coworkers – who suffer from Multiple Sclerosis or who have met hard times. In particular, MS is not only very costly, but it can be very painful,” says Bronner, founder of Yearly Angels. “Many suffering with this illness [who have] limited funds, healthcare resources and financial provision naturally experience the most recovery challenges. Oftentimes, their pain prevents them from working. Without proper healthcare and resources, many lose hope.”

An active member in her Atlanta community, Bronner has seen the outcome of financial struggles on hardworking families.

It’s why Bronner created Yearly Angels, Inc. a nonprofit organization founded in 2014. The mission of Yearly Angels is to provide families–afflicted with Multiple Sclerosis and families that have been impacted by economic hardships–with a grant up to $1,000 to help with medical and essential household expenses.

“Three words to describe me as a leader is my desire to give, guide and serve,” says Bronner.

Bronner serves as first lady of The Ark Of Salvation, a board member for a local Christian school and a caring advocate for Multiple Sclerosis patients and needy families. In 2014, Yearly Angels donated $1,000 to nine families. Funds were used to feed the hungry, save a recipient from eviction and to provide needed medical care. Bronner seeks business leaders, church clergy and other donors and organizations to give a $1,000 donation that will directly benefit a qualified family.

This year Yearly Angels has increased its annual fund raiser, themed “Gift for the Holidays” to $15,000 that will enable the organization to give $5,000 more towards needy families given in 2014.

Interested donors and businesses desiring to give should visit www.yearlyangels.com. The website also provides several testimonials from recipients along with an online gallery and more information about the organization. The organization has a Facebook page and a GoFundMe page to make giving online easily accessible from preferred platforms.

The ARK of Salvation is a Christian Outreach Ministries is located in Atlanta, a non-denomination Christian ministry pastored by three brothers with ONE GOD. Nathaniel Bronner Jr. is senior pastor and ministers on Sunday; Elijah Bronner ministers on Thursday at the Thursday Night Week Day Word and James Bronner is the youth pastor.
