Valérie Chevalier Joins Patricia Paquin as Spokesperson for the 26th Medavie Blue Cross MS Bike

The Quebec Division of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada is proud to count on Valérie Chevalier's support as co-spokesperson of the Medavie Blue Cross MS Bike tour, which will be held on August 29 and 30, in the Lower Laurentians. The approximately 1,000 participating cyclists will be able to choose from more than 20 routes, ranging from 75 to 150 km per day, so everyone can find a challenge that suits them. The event's financial goal is $1,200,000.

Valérie, who is social media host on La Voix and a columnist on Salut, Bonjour!, among other things, didn't think twice when asked to cycle for the cause: "Multiple sclerosis is a cause that's particularly important to me, and I'm proud to be a spokesperson. For the fifth year in a row, I'll be enjoying the Medavie Blue Cross MS Bike routes as I ride for Christiane, my team leader and friend, who has the disease. I hope to see lots of you there!"

New: An MS Bike app
The MS Bike app, designed by our generous partner Protegra, enables participants to track their event, to follow their fund-raising and to talk with teammates through instant messaging.

Many thanks to Medavie Blue Cross, which is associating its name with the event again this year to support people with MS: "We're proud to support the Medavie Blue Cross MS Bike Tour again this year," said Eric Laberge, Senior Vice President Group Business. "Multiple Sclerosis is affecting more and more Canadians every year.  We are committed to supporting research and community programs that help those impacted by MS, and we do this through our partnership with the MS Society. The MS Bike Tour is a fun event that has a tremendous impact in our province. We take our community's health to heart and we believe that together we can build a future without MS."

Medavie Blue Cross MS Bike is organized jointly with Vélo Québec ÉVÉNEMENTS. To register or obtain more information, visit or contact Naomie Langlois-Delorme at or 1 800 268-7592.
